Where to verify + pay
A BEV (and a PHEV with at least 30 miles of all-electric range) pays a $150 EV registration fee plus a $75 transportation-electrification fee, for $225 per year. A PHEV with under 30 miles of range pays $75. The electrification fee took effect Oct 1, 2025.
