2026–2027 changes
From Jan 1, 2027 the EV fee adjusts annually for inflation (CPI); the PHEV fee stays at 25% of the EV fee.
Where to verify + pay
The Road User Charge began April 1, 2025 ($200 EV / $50 PHEV). For 2026 it is $250 EV / $63 PHEV (PHEV is 25% of the EV fee). A monthly payment-plan option opens in July 2026.
